Your Workday

As our Director Digital Solution, you´ll have the opportunity to work in a forward-thinking, goal-oriented corporation with groundbreaking technology. You will have full leadership responsibility for the digital transformation and development of intelligence solutions for Vard Electro.

You will drive the big data revolution by incorporating operational data from ships and optimizing digital solutions and services. Take initiative and implement market-driven innovation. You will work with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams that can drive innovation forward and will spearhead our digital development.

Some of your key responsibilities

• Lead our digitalization project and take it to the next level
• Develop, manage, monitor and implement the group's digital strategy in line with organizational values, objectives and priorities.
• Continue Developing and defining Vard`s Digital Solutions based on the strategic plan
• Be “the” point of contact and strategic leader in the digital development work.
• Develop, communicate and promote new concepts and solutions.

Who we´re looking for

We seek a person with experience with building digital products and solutions and a strong understanding of system architecture and reviews for data platforms.

As an individual, you should possess a follow-through mentality and a drive to inspire others and demonstrate stability and endurance. Experience in the maritime sector is a significant advantage coupled with staying updated on the latest developments in the maritime digital industry. Craft and execute the strategic vision & roadmaps of our digital products, based on inputs from the market and key stakeholders. To succeed, experience with the development of data gathering and storing for digitalization is a prerequisite, as well as management of software development teams.
