The Association of Arctic Expedition Cruise Operators (AECO) represents an industry in growth and constant development. As AECO’s HR manager, you will get the opportunity to use your skills within an organization working to advance responsible tourism and environmental stewardship. Our secretariat currently consists of seven highly competent and motivated people. We are an agile organization and the HR manager will play an essential role in managing our most important resource, namely our staff. This job is very varied and may develop over time, both in line with the development of the industry, the competence you bring to the table and your professional development in your role with AECO. You’ll have both operative and strategic responsibilities, and work closely together with management and partners.

What we offer
The Association of Arctic Expedition Cruise Operators (AECO) is an international association for Arctic expedition cruise operators and associated industries. AECO’s main objectives are to ensure environmentally friendly, safe, and considerate tourism in the Arctic, and to advocate for the interests of our members. Our approximately 70 international members operate more than 60 vessels in the Arctic. AECO’s secretariat has seven employees. Our head office is in Tromsø, Norway, and we have colleagues working from Denmark and Greenland.
