To maintain the momentum and continue the growth of the company, Seagems Norway is looking for a new strategy- and innovation-focused Managing Director. Key responsibilities will go beyond just day-to-day operations, allowing for the development and implementation of the company’s strategy. We are dedicated to improving the entire value chain for seafood ingredients to the benefit of producers, end-users and the environment all together – a process you will be at the helm of.
In addition to a M.Sc. degree or equivalent and experience in top management, we want you to possess the following:
- Strong financial experience and understanding, preferably also from Investor Relations and M&A
- Proven track-record from a start-up or SME which has had fast-growth and success
- Experience and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a result-oriented and deadline driven environment
- Experience and knowledge of the food/nutrition industry is an advantage
You will be responsible for
- Strategy development and implementation together with the Board
- Managing day-to-day operations together with the Management team
- Responsibilities also include:
- Finance and investor relations
- HR activities
- Overall production operations, in collaboration with COO
- B2B Global sales, in collaboration with Head of Sales
- Global sourcing, in collaboration with Strategic Sourcing Director
- R&D projects and product development, in collaboration with Technical- and Quality Manager
