To manage the inventory at Stokke's European warehouse, we are now looking for a Supply and Inventory Specialist. You will collaborate directly with Stokke's suppliers for the planning of production and deliveries to Stokke's warehouses in Europe, Asia and North America. The job entails continuous improvement of purchasing processes with the supplier, and active participation in new product launch projects.  

In addition to relevant higher education within supply chain management, we want you to possess the following:  

  • Good competence in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently
  • Relevant work experience
  • Experience in working with Infor M3 or other ERP systems
  • Good communication skills, with fluent English and Norwegian

Your responsibility

  • Optimize Stokke's service level and inventory turnover rate for a defined portfolio of SKUs
  • Set up and maintain Stokke’s Inventory Management system and ERP system in collaboration with the ICT department
  • Maintain sales forecasts using statistical models
  • Optimize purchase parameters such as safety stocks, purchase frequency, etc.
  • Place and follow up purchase orders
  • Coordinate the launch of new products globally
  • Plan and execute the discontinuation of products
  • Ensure a high level of competence in complex Supply Chain related projects (new products, move of production, etc.)
  • Secure an optimal communication with suppliers, logistics providers, Operations Managers, Product Managers and Sales
  • Ensure supply chain efficiency in collaboration with the rest of the Supply Chain team
